And neither does anyone else.
Hello, my name is Elizabeth, but I go by a multitude of names: Libby, Elli, Ani, CloakedApprentice, Cloakey, etc etc etc. I'm 16 years old until March 20th, and I live somewhere on the east half of America, but the west is nice too.
I used to run a shitty sideblob attached to an even shittier askblob and I didn't know how to fix either so I'm starting anew with this fresh lovely blob right here.
My dreams are to make my own TV show, rewrite the periodic table, make cool YouTube videos, animate and draw a lot, and make an Imperial Condescension cosplay. And survive through high school, college, clutter, and whatever little naive me has planned for my future.
I enjoy several fandoms, godawful puns, reading, music, and creating things. Ideas, drawings, whatever.
If you went through all this text thank Jesus my time was not wasted.
So yeah, ask me things, suggest things to make on YouTube, etc etc etc.
Haven’t posted anything for ages! Everything we’ve been doing has been pretty secret lately but here’s a few illustrations from a set I’ve been putting together for an exhibition in Bristol.
karkat is the deity of blood and health
hes also more widely known as the patron god of all mortal humans and its said that his blood runs through all humans
though hes often depicted as a rageful god, hes one of the kindest gods and is known to be kinder to humans than other gods. you pray to him for good health, for quick recovery from illnesses, and for penance, mercy and protection
he is a merciful god
If you send me a pic like this you are automatically my future husband
No person or group who creates occasional or regular Homestuck fan content or even official content is under any kind of obligation to create things to entertain you today.
If they choose to celebrate 413 by making something, that’s awesome and you should enjoy it and give them props, but don’t hassle them if they’re busy or just not feeling it today. Artists, VAs, Musicians etc. are human beings and they have lives outside of making fan content.
Liking somebody’s work does not entitle you to tell them what to do or make demands, especially when it’s for free content they make just for fun. Adding that you love their work and only nag because you want more doesn’t make it okay. It can make the creator feel extremely anxious because it can feel like a threat, “I love you, so you’d better do what I want” comes with the implied meaning that you will stop loving them if they don’t, even if that was not the intention. If you want an artist to prioritise what you want them to make over what they want to make, PAY THEM. If you don’t have the means or desire to pay them, let them do whatever the hell they want!
Note: Paying them does not include unsolicited art trades. It is not cool to send an artist a drawing they were not expecting and didn’t ask for and to demand art in return (you’d think that wouldn’t need saying but I’ve seen it happen).
